THE RHYTHM. THE RITUAL. THE RECORD.
ART JOURNALING AS MINDFUL CREATIVE RITUAL
Co-Facilitated by Artists:
NICOLE KAGAN + MARINA DEMPSTER
Fall is a beautiful time for letting go and getting into inspired action.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 2-5PM
THE ORCHARD LYCEUM
(969 QUEEN STREET WEST, TORONTO, CANADA)
Through exploring the rich metaphor of Autumn, you will leave this playful and poignant workshop with a range of creative tools to immediately access your creative expression through your art journal anytime, anywhere. Beautiful journal and supplies included!
An art journal is a personalized road map from which to process and navigate life, while simultaneously recording the beauty and wonder of the journey. As you engage with and fill its pages, it becomes empowering evidence of the unlimited nature of your creativity – your markings become visual cues for thoughts and experiences.
Artists Marina Dempster and Nicole Kagan believe that creative expression and mindful connection are innate and inherently intertwined. These skilful facilitators will guide you through experimental prompts and processes.
In the safe container of both the journal and the workshop, they will invite connection and demonstrate the benefit of setting up a continued journaling practice as a beautiful ritual in your life.
- This adult workshop is open to all – no art experience required
- This workshop includes a journal and all materials as well as tea and refreshments
I’m so pleased to be co-creating and co-facilitating this workshop with Marina Dempster.
